Awwwww! Isn't he soooo sweet!?! Sucking his little finger all comfy in his bed!  

And here is the classic butt up in the air sleeping. Not sure why this is comfortable, but it is a favorite among the young.... 

It's official, folks! We've got a crawler! Notice the plastic dealies in the outlets....we've been child proofing, awaiting this milestone! Now it's here and there's no going back! Blake is in motion, folks! Be afraid, be VERY afraid...I know I am! He was very cooperative and did his first real crawling for the video camera...I'm pretty sure I have him trained. He knows not to do anything big without the camera on him.... 

He sees his prey and will do anything to get it...nothing will get in his way now!!! 

And here is the end goal...the object that prompted the crawling--the surround sound wiring....NOTHING IS SAFE!!!! 

"Hi, Daddy!" I call this "mountain climbing." This is when Blake whines to be held and then climbs all over you because he really wants down...it's the pre-crawling, pre-movement frustration in its finest.... 

This is a strange pic, I think...We were just getting ready to go to our Uncle Bud's funeral and had someone take a pic for us. This was August and I was about 8 months pregnant and huge! I just thought that the sunbeams in that came into the picture were so coincidental since we were on our way to the funeral and all.... 

He was just so little....aaaaawwwww....*sniff sniff* I wish he was that small again, but that I wasn't on pain killers for the first week and I knew more of what to expect. Those first months are trying...if you can take off work for 4-6 months, I recommend it...it's hard stuff! No one tells you how hard it is, really, they just tell you the rewarding stuff....Sorry, I don't konw why I'm even getting into this! I was just looking at old pics and thought I'd post some! 

I didn't really have any new pics for you guys, so I thought I'd take it back 7 months or so...this was at the hospital two days after Blake was born. I had this picture blown up and have it framed...I thought it was so sweet--it's my favorite...

Ahhhhh...The Joys of Home Ownership!!!

So we decided to do some landscaping today! I just love gardening and home inprovement! I bought some purple and white petunias (for Bryce since he's a big KSU fan--I'm sure some of you can appreciate that). It's not completely finished, but I thought I would post some of the pics since I took a ton of them! If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'll finish up the planting and post a final pic!

And here he is peeking through the bars of his crib while pulling the bumper back and crying! Yeah, there's a lot of crying lately....Not sure what's up with that. These pictures are all taken around the same time--right before bath time and dinner. He's a silly one! 

Here's one I took tonight...same situation, grouchy and crying! I was filling up the bath tub, so I thought I'd take a few pics. The rug he's on is on the floor in his bedroom--we bought it when steve and Melissa were in town! It goes quite well with the sports theme in his bedroom! We actually registered for this rug at Pottery Barn Kids, but didn't get it. We have a PBK outlet here, so I went there and found the rug for half the price! I was very excited about that! Now we want to get the matching football!  

Heehee! Blake was screaming--he's trying to phase out his evening nap, but it makes him grouchy! Anyway, if I'm not holding him, he's screaming! You can't totally tell he's crying here, but you kind of can. Bryce's sister bought this little Longhorns hat for Blake in the gift shop of the hospital when he was first born. It finally fits on his head, but he pulls it off when we put it on him! Little booger!!! 

Here's a funny one of the monkey enjoying as many fingers as would fit in his mouth....I went back a few months on this one to February....Just thought I'd post it!

Caleb came over today (that's his mom Rebecca in the background) to see "Baby Blake" as he calls him! Caleb loves Blake and loves to hold him and give him kisses and hugs! Too cute!!!

And here's the last one that we bought. I think this one turned out well. I framed this one and am putting it up on my wall as soon as I can get Bryce to put a nail in the wall for me! I alwasy screw stuff up when tools are involved...

As a surprise for Bryce's mom, his sister Timberli, Blake, Bryce and I went and had our pictures taken...this is the fun one! Bryce has called Blake "Monkey" since he was born--I think he's showing why we all call him that!

Hee hee! Funny little guy! Just loves to stick things in his mouth! That's a little bath toy that Momma Holt got for him! This picture was taken in February..he now has that toy along with the others in the tub and he gets them wet and then sucks the soap and water out of them....sounds good, huh? 

This picture cracks me up! This was St Paddy's Day when Melissa was here visiting! I wish she were here everyday! Anywhhhoooooo...thought I'd add this one, too. I like to post new pics all the time to keep you all interested in my blog! Fun, huh? Sometimes I don't have any new ones I've recently taken, so I take it back to the old school a bit, you know, it's fun that way! I like it!
