Snow Day!!!

We had a snow day in Austin today! Amazing! This was Kendall's first time ever seeing snow!!! She kept saying, "the snow has sparkles in it!" Blake made snow angels and threw snow balls at me and Kendall and Kendall kinda stood there and stared--she wasn't too enthused. As quickly as the snow came, it was gone. It's sunny and 42 out, the roads are completely dry and the snow's melted for the most part. Mostly everyone was out of work today, school's were closed...thousands of pounds of sand were thrown all over the roads...

Bye Bye Paci

So, Kendall has a pretty crazy paci addiction--well, I guess I can now say HAD! I decided it's about time to give up the paci since she's going to be turning three soon, I just had to think of the easiest way to accomplish this daunting task...So. the Paci Fairy was born. I had to call the Paci Fairy the night Kendall said she was ready to give up her pacis and let her know it was time. Kendall and I gathered up all of her pacis (we were down to only two) and put them under her pillow. In the morning, she woke up and the pacis were gone, but the Paci Fairy had left her a Hello Kitty purse with lip gloss in it--pretty even exchange in her eyes! She's done remarkably well since giving up her pacis. She asks for one here and there, but I tell her the Paci Fairy took her pacis to babies who need them and she is pretty much ok with it. If I had known it would be so simple, I would have done it months ago!
