So, I guess I just left you all hanging with my school decision. Well, I opted to drop microbiology and just take Human Anatomy this semester. I think it was a good decision! I'm taking the class on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:40-8:20. Over the summer, it was T, Th 6-10....yikes! I have the same prof and everything! I started class on Monday--he totally recognized me and my name....sigh...oh, well! I feel really good going into the class this semester, much less scared than this summer! I realized I didn't learn much the first time around, so I guess it's good I'm re-taking it!!!!!

Not a whole lot else going on right now. Just working, working, working, going to school, fitting time for me and my little fam in when I can. So far, things are working out! I at least want to get through the holidays working at Pottery Barn Kids....I have my eye on so many things for Blake!!!!!

I'll get some pics for you all soon...I know I'm boring you to death not including many pics, but it doesn't seem like I'm taking many these days! Hoep all is well and I'll be updating my blog soon!!! Oh, wait...let me put a pic in here for your viewing pleasure....even though I'm sure a lot of you have seen it.....

Well, I picked neither...go me! When I worked Saturday, we had just gotten in all of our costumes. The lion wasn't as cute in person as it was online, so I opted for the puppy. Bryce thinks it looks girly, but whatever, Blake likes it! We had a super cute dragon, but it was $79...even with my discount, that's more than I want to spend for Blake to walk around our neighborhood for 30 minutes!!!!! Anyway...we have secured our doggie costume and now just have to wait for Halloween to come!!! Posted by Picasa

Your Favorite Part of the Year

Ok, so it's that time again....time to help me choose which costume I'll be purchasing for Blake for Halloween. We have two great choices this year....first comes to us from One Step Ahead. It is your classic furry Elmo costume. Blake loves Elmo, but I'm thinkin this might be a little fruity...and HOT! Plus, we're having an Elmo birthday party this year....So....what do you think?

And the other choice is a beaut from Pottery Barn Kids. Blake absolutely loves animals (he's going to be a vet, you know), so I'm thinking this Lion costume would be perfect. He can do the whole lion roar and everything!

So...those are the choices. They both have hats, which I doubt will last much past 30 seconds, but we'll see. The lion is about 5 dollars less and wouldn't bbe quite as warm....I just can't decide. Give me your input!!!!

Am I Crazy?

So, I feel like I may be losing all sense of sanity I may have once had....and I'm just needed some advice to re-ground me. Here's the story...I started taking Human Anatomy this summer, but with getting two new jobs and all, I had to drop it--just too much going on. So, I signed up to retake it this Fall. No big deal there. Well, my friend Staci at work mentioned that she would like to take some classes and is interested in being a nurse. She signed up for intro to microbiology. Well, I didn't think I could take this class because it very specifically says that anatomy is a pre-req. She signed up for it and hasn't taken anatomy, so I dont' know what is up with the pre-req thing. Well....I decided I'd take the course, too. it can't be too bad--it's an intro course. Am I losing my mind? I have a full time job everyday 8-5, plus a job at Pottery Barn Kids that usually requires me to work at least 5 hrs per week (and I do rather enjoy working at that place, that's why I'm so hesitant to let it go...plus, the discount is FABULOUS!!!!). I'll be going to anatomy M & W 5:40-8:45 and this micro biology class is on T & Th 7:05-9:45. I'll probably have to work both Fri and Sat nights at Pottery Barn most weeks....is this insane, people? Am I taking on too much? That will mean Sunday is really my only down day, but how can i really have a down day if I'm in two classes? But, then again, I mean, if I'm going to get this show on teh road, I have to get these classes out of the way--I mean, I'm not even in the nursing program yet, I'm just doing the pre-req's!!!!!! I need outside opinions, peeps...even if you've never commented on here before--do it! I need to know if I'm being crazy and thinking I can do more than I can. Lisa J., I'm very interested to hear what you have to say about this since you've been doing the school/family thing (maybe not the work aspect, but still, your opinion will be valuable to me). Thanks!!!!
