I took the kiddos to get their pictures taken last Friday. Man oh man...what a process! It was very difficult to get a picture of the two of them together....At one point, Kendall threw up on Blake's arm and it was game over for him after that--he wasn't at all interested in holding her. We had to threaten him half the time to get him to do what we wanted him to do...Not my ideal parenting style, but geez....three is worse than two!!!! Anyway, I attached a bunch of the pictures for you all to enjoy!

On another note, we will be in Lansing this weekend!!!!!

Bustin Out!

Yesterday was like Heaven! I swaddled Kendall in this special swaddling blanket and she took a 2.5 hour nap in her own bed and then she slept in her bed last night as well (of course she still woke up to eat, but I was able to put her back down in her bed all swaddled without any complaint)! Well, I needed to get some work done, so I figured I'd swaddle her again today and we'd have the same turn out...well, not the case. I put her down twice and both times I came in to find her like this...lol! Her arms and legs are supposed to be inside the blanket all cozy warm and she busted herself out! I walked in and she was just laying there, not making any sounds, just looking around with her arm in the air (wish I had had the camera that time!). Too funny! She's getting bigger and stronger! She finally just stretched out...You know how newborns are all scruntched up for awhile with their legs near their chests? Well, she's finally stretching her legs out more.

In Case There's Any Question, She's Definitely a Girl!

Could I get any more pink in this picture?
Chillin
I almost got the full smile on film!
Chunky monkey!
Kendall got to go to Blake's school yesterday for a baby shower/show and tell. The kids made pudding to emulate eating baby food, I brought a few diapers and they practiced putting them on baby dolls and Blake got to get up in front of the class and tell everyone about his baby sister. I dressed her all up for the festivities! I didn't get to take any pictures, but the director of the school said she'd put them on a disc for me soon.
Bryce's cousin makes hair bows and sent us this headband with several different bows that I can interchange--so cute! I didn't think I'd be the bow type, but they're just so darn cute!!!

Blake had another t ball game Saturday. He wasn't really very into it this time....well, I mean, he did ok, just got a little distracted and bored. Grandma Pam had to come out on the field with him....

I don't know what it is, but Blake just HAS to make silly faces in pictures these days...I thought that started later, but apparently not...

This is the picture I was trying to capture
And this is one I got in the process...This pretty much sums up Kendall's day...She spits up CONSTANTLY. In fact, she spit up in my hair right as we were walking out the door to a dr's appt this morning...it was really awesome. At least I actually got to take a shower today and get the crust out...lol! So, yeah, she eats, spits up and then an hour and a half to two hours later, is hungry again and so the process starts again. Needless to say, I don't sleep much in between all of this pigging out. I was worried that maybe she wasn't getting enough to eat with all the puking, but at the dr's today, she weighed her and Piggy Wiggy is up to 12 pounds! We were at the dr about a month ago and she was only 8lbs 15oz, so she gained 3 pounds in one month! Geez!!!!! It was the cardiologist we went to see. She had a heart monitor for twenty four hours two weeks ago, so we went to get the results of that today. No episodes, so yay! She's now going to be taking her medication every 8 hours instead of every 6 hours. I'm so glad because we were having to give her a dose at 2am, which is really not a fun time to be up! So, no more early morning dosages (well, 7am, but I can deal with that, I suppose). We go back in another month for another heart monitor and then a follow up visit after that. She's doing really well, though, which I am so glad about! I had a very hard time dealing with everything when we were in the hospital....You expect to have a healthy, flawless baby and when that doesn't happen, it's pretty darn difficult--especially when they tell you they're admitting her to the NICU. Anywhoo...She's good, Blake's good, we're all good! Oh, and Kendall's rash is completely gone! Yay!
