Dancing Queen

We had to wait about an hour and a half for pictures with Santa at Blake's school last week, so the kids were all singing and playing instruments. Kendall went ahead and made herself right at home and put on a show for all of the class! It cracks me up every time I see it! Enjoy!

Blake was very excited this year when he saw that he could sit on the stool next to Santa and Kendall got to sit on his lap...lol! They did pictures with Santa at Blake's school. This is the first year I've had the kids' pics taken with him. Blake hates doing it and Kendall was too young to do it without screaming last year, so I just decided to forego the tradtion. You can see Kendall's on the verge of flipping out, but we caughter her just in time!!!!! Merry Christmas!

Bungy Blake

We were at the mall Sunday and saw the bungy deal they had set up and Blake just HAD to do it. There was no telling him no....I was so surprised he really did it! I thought he'd get shy or scared and chicken out, but nope, he was all about it! He said he had the BEST TIME EVER doing it! I only had my phone camera with me and it's not great at action shots, but you get the idea.

Rest In Peace, Grandma Jane

As I mentioned in the previous post, Bryce's Grandma Jane passed away in Mid-November. She was very ill and is probably in a much happier, more peaceful, pain free place now. We knew it would happen eventually, it just didn't make it easier to face it when it actually did. We will miss her...

Thanksgiving

Well, this year, we were lucky enough to have three Thanksgiving dinners! We had one the weekend before at my Aunt Sandy's house and then we made a surprise trip to Wichita and had two more dinners there. It was sssoooo great to see everyone--and we really did get to see everyone in the family--all sides! Unfortunately, the tone for our trip was a sad one. Bryce's Grandma Jane passed away. He and I made the drive to Ulysses in Western KS for the last time to pay our respects. We love and miss her.

My coworker Justin had a really fun Halloween party at his house. The theme of the party was singer/song writers or a character from a song. Mandi and I decided on our costumes at the last minute and dressed up for the party! I think we turned out pretty darn well for putting everything together Saturday morning!

We went trick or treating tonight with Blake's future wife Haley and her mom while the dad's stayed home and watched the little ones (Haley has a baby sister, also) and UT football! We had a fun time walking around their neighborhood (which is right across the street from ours)!
