Ok, everyone....this is my friend Laura. She just had a fit cause I did not crop her out of the pregnant lady picture and then I called her "the girl in front." So, I am featuring her on my blog so I can redeem myself....so...there you go! 

So, we bought a tree the other day! Since we moved into this house a year and a half ago we have wanted to add a tree to the backyard. We finally did it and bought a Bradford Pear tree... 

Oh, I just love being the one documenting these tasks, not the one actually contributing! 

Well, it's sort of hard to see cause it's on the small side, but here's our happy little tree! Can't wait to watch it grow! 

Blake the baseball player! Gosh, he's getting so big these days! he's like a human sponge and absorbs everything! He knows how to point to his ears, eyes, nose and I'm teaching him belly button. He makes the sounds for a duck, cow, lamb, doggie and kitty.....he blows kisses, gives five, claps....I'm just amazed at how quickly he picks things up! I really like teaching him new things! The possibilities are endless as are the new things he's doing these days!

This picture is sooo hilarious.....we were out one night and these lesbians were all up on my friend Laura.....the girl in the black shirt is the other Laura telling the lesbian to get off Laura....it's just funny....lol

So....Brett and I went to see a local concert here in Austin...we couldn't get a seat close by, so we went to the back of the bar and played Golden Tee....see that bruise on the bottom of my hand? Yeah, that would be from hitting the side of the machine instead of the little ball...it hurt really bad...I'm never playing that game again!!!! 

Blake really liked having Brett around to play with....he was calling him "Daddy" the whole time he was here! (I don't think it's cause he things Brett is his daddy but that he doesn't know what else to say...lol)

Today was a Good Day....

Wwwhoooooo hhhhhoooooooo!!!!! I have Brett here for this week and it just so happened that I had my first test on Tuesday....Well, I studied a bit, but we decided to go downtown and to a concert....oooppsss....well, I got my test score back today and I got a 98%!!!!!!!!!!!! I only missed one question! I was sooo stoked! I also had to take an entrance exam for Human Anatomy (they won't let you register for the course unless you have passed the test with a 70% or higher). Well, I haven't taken biology for years, so I found the test to be very difficult...it took me three tries, but I finally got my results back in the mail today and I passed with a 74% (not my best work, but heck, I'll take it!!!!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so super excited about these tests!!!!

Welp, we're off to have dinner at PF Chang's and then out to karaoke!

I'm Still Alive!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post real quick and say I'm still among the living! Brett has been at my house since last Friday and we've been hitting it pretty hard! I'm doing my best to entertain and make sure he has a nice, relaxing time as well as give him an idea of what Austin's all about. So far, we've made it downtown three times...and counting! It's been nice to have him around....

Other than that, not a lot going on lately! I just had my first test yesterday....I studied a lot harder than I needed to, it was such an easy test!!!!! I'm thinking I probably got a B, but we'll see....secretly, I'm thinking A.....keep your fingers crossed for me!

Anywhooooo....well, I should go. It's 5:30 and we're still lying around in our pj's....it's nice to relax and have a down day!!!!

Lol...this is just funny....he kept wanting me to put his hat on his head (which, by the way is like two head sizes too small for him) and when I put it on, he'd snatch it off real quick...funny little monkey! 

So, we had some folks over for the Super Bowl...someone left their Red Stripe on the coffee table and Blake ran right over to it and tried to get a swig....fortunately, he got the bottle in his mouth, but no actual beer....but he really liked the bottle...lol 

I don't know what that is in Blake's hand, but I'm sure it's something sticky that he's smearing in his hair...cause that ranks up there on his list of favorite things to do.... 

Don't I look so excited to be awake? Heehee...Blake made himself right at hoem in our bed.... 

Haha....let's all try to make something up that we think they're saying to each other....I'm thinking something along the lines of...."Are you thinking what I'm thinking? I wanna go outside...." 

So, Bryce and I were awakened out of a dead sleep at 1am the other night by a crash...Bryce searched the whole house--inside and out--to make sure things were secure and found nothing ot attribute the noise to. Once he was satisfied with his thorough check, he went to the bathroom only to find a section of our closet had fallen down (our master closet is in the bathroom....and, of course, it was my section that fell....and no, I didn't even have that much on that side!!!!). So.....it's been that way a couple days. I think we're both dreading dealing with it....sigh....

So, here I am again in need of downloading my pictures! I will do it, I swear! There's one rather hilarious pic I have to take tomorrow and then I'll download and post....Not too much going on, really...Brett Dolinsky is coming to visit for a week...he gets in Friday. I'm trying to plan what to do, though I'm drawing a blank on daytime activities...I'm lazy, I mostly just hang out at home.....so, we'll see how that all goes! Hopefully I dont' bore poor Brett to death!!!! We had a couple of ppl over for the Superbowl...good times...didn't much care about the game, though....Anywhoooooo....well, just wanted to post something so my loyal readers wouldn't get bored! I'll have pics for you tomorrow!
