Blake always tells us he wants to peepee or poopoo on the potty...so here he is giving it a try!!!! We're not really pushing him to potty train or anything, but he's showing an interest, so why not at least try to get the ball rolling!?!

Blake got to wear his "howmeen goggie" tonight for his school's fall festival to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. I wasn't sure if he'd wear the head part, but he wouldn't take it off! His poor little head was all sweaty from being so hot--it's like 90 degrees with 400% humidity tonight!!!!! We had a really fun time doing the family thing tonight! Blake kept telling me he looked "cute" tonight....lol...I've got a big ego-ed kid already!

Blake somehow made it through the visit with Grampy this last weekend! We celebrated his two year birthday with huge ribeyes and made from scratch cake! Happy birthday little boy!!!!!

Matt Holt's band Davan came through Austin on Sunday and Monday on their tour! They came and spent some time at my house, which was an honor! We had such a good time at their concert, even though it was on a Monday night, the crowd was small and we didn't get home until 2:30am....it was a total blast!!! They were so good! I was very proud of them!!!

Picture Day

Well, there should be some pics here, but Blogger sucks.....so...no pics...sorry. I've been trying for days to upload these pics on here at work, but it just won't let me...I'm getting irritated, so...I give up...


Blake got his pictures taken at school last week! He wouldn't let me fix his hair, so it looks fabulous, as you can see. He's pretty grouchy in the morning if awaken (hhhmmm.....that doesn't sound like his momma at all), so when I wet his hair, he rubs it and yells "nnooooo! No hair!!!" at me...so, I just don't even bother anymore. I think we'll buy them just because they're his first school pictures...lol....tomorrow is his second birthday! I love this age, it's so much fun! He's learning to sing The Alphabet Song, Old MacDonald, he can count to ten (with some help), play Ring Around the Rosie....just all kinds of fun things!!! We'll be taking some professional photos next month for our Christmas cards...a guy I work with is a photographer and is going to take some really cool pics for us in downtown Austin, so I can't wait for that!!!!

My dad's en route right now, on his way to Austin!!!!! We'll be celebrating Blake's birthday with a little birthday BBQ in our backyard. Next weekend is his big party, which should be fun! I'm not really inviting any kids, which is kind of weird, but will be fun anyway! I'll post some pics after the festivities! Anywhoo...my dad will be here in about 2 hours--yay! I get to leave work early, which I'm really excited about--hheehhee!
