I got a Baby Bjorn today! I ordered it off eBay for a ridiculously cheap price! It's gently used, but I don't mind that! I got it primarily so that I could work at home at the computer and be able to hold Kendall and still have to hands to type. This is going to work amazingly! I tried it on for a bit tonight and can see I am going to be using this thing quite a bit! I have a sling, but this is going to work a lot better and I think I'm going to like it a lot more. Oh, and one other thing this is going to be wonderful for is grocery shopping!!!! Right now, Blake has to walk so that Kendall's carrier can go on the cart. Well, he's usually tired or cranky or something and acts up at the store....imagine that without the ability to throw him in the cart--yeah, not a fun experience (and yes, we have had to have time outs in the aisles at the grocery store). So, with this, I can carry Kendall and Blake can be contained in the cart again. This is going to be a beautiful thing!

Rocco! Blake got a new kitty...No, I have not lost my mind...the kitty lives at Gramma Pam's house, but comes to visit us occassionally. Blake is absolutely in love with this kitty! Poor thing...he just drags it around all over the place! I guess it doesn't mind....

Kendall

Kendall had her two month check up two weeks ago (we're a little behind because she didn't get to see the pediatrician in the hospital like most babies do due to being in the NICU, so her first office visit should have beena two week check up, but it was her newborn screening). She's a little thing! She weighs 11lbs, 11oz and is 22 inches. She's only gained 3lbs 7oz since birth! She was also diagnosed with acid reflux, for which she's been prescribed Zantac. It's been helping with the vomiting, thank goodness! We give that medicine to her twice a day and the heart meds three times a day--poor kid! I think her constant spitting up has a lot to do with why she hasn't gained a ton of weigh....The doctor wasn't concerned, she's still in the 50th percentile for her weight. She got several shots, which she was NOT happy about! She whined for quite awhile as if she couldn't believe we would do that to her!!!! She slept the majority of the day after the shots, though. She's doing pretty darn good, though!!!

I was hesitant to put this picture of me in a swimming suit up, but whatever...I just had a baby, don't judge me!!!!!

These pics are from our afternoon at Aunt TT's house! We had a lot of fun swimming over there! Kendall put one foot in the water and started screaming, so we just put her back in her carrier and let her sleep in the warmth--she loves to be warm when she sleeps!!!!

Bryce says my hair makes me look older....gee, just what I want to hear right before my 29th birthday! Speaking of birthdays.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MELISSA!!!!!!! Our birthdays are so close we used to have joint birthday parties--the best one had to be the luau for our 16th birthdays! We met when we were 14 and now 15 years later, we're still friends!!!! I hope you had a good one!

We went to Ulysses last May for Bryce's cousin Melanie's graduation. I never got to post these pictures because I broke my camera before I could upload them onto my computer. I got a new camera before Kendall was born and the memory card fit into that camera, so I was able to upload the pics! Thought I'd just take a stroll down memory lane!

Greensburg

I never posted these pictures of Greensburg. The top 3 under the wind mill deals are from areas immediately surrounding Greensburg only about a month after the devastation occured. The very bottom picture is from last November when we drove through again on the way to see Bryce's family in Ulysses, KS. Nearly a year after the tornadoes ravished this town, it still looks pretty much the same! They are going to be airing a show on the Planet Green channel documenting the rebuilding of Greensburg. They'll be building it "green". I hope we will get this channel added to our cable line up so I can watch the show--I'm sure it will be extremely interesting (not to mention Leonardo DiCaprio is producing it....might catch a glimpse of him!).

Today I got some really, really good news!!!!! I have to start back to work Monday (that is NOT the good news), which I've been dreading (well, sort of...I do look forward to seeing all of my friends again--and I do think of my coworkers as friends, that's partly why I am opting to keep my job and not be a stay at home mom). Well, I found out today that I will be able to work part time from home!!!!!! I will work from the office Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then will be home Tuesday and Thursday! I'm so excited! This is absolutely the best of both worlds for me! I get a little bored being home all of the time, but I don't want to have to be away from my kids so much. This way I'll have a reason to get up and get dressed when I have to go into the office, but I still have the benefit of watching my own children the majority of the time! I couldn't be happier about this priviledge I've been given!

I have tons and tons and tons of pictures I need to upload. Since I've already been working from home the past 6 weeks (on a part time basis just to make a few extra dollars while I'm on unpaid leave), I hardly ever get on my own PC (my office has provided me with a lap top on a temporary basis). I will get some pictures up soon! I chopped my hair off yesterday and have to put the pics up for everyone to see--it's pretty different!

I've been up working late tonight and am totally pooped right now, so off to bed I go! I'll post some new pictures very soon--just had to share my happy news!!!!!

Blake's school had a graduation ceremony this morning for the kids who are going to Kindergarten this Fall. It was hard to video from my seat, but I got a little of Blake singing. It was a really cute ceremony!

We got Kendall a new activity mat today....She really liked the hanging butterfly a lot--so much, in fact, she had a comversation with it! Enjoy!

While we were in Wichita, we had the opportunity to go to the zoo with my friend Michelle and her two boys. It's such a nice zoo--almost as I remembered it, but better!!! The boys had such a fun time together, too! We got there after all of the school kids left and pretty much had the place to ourselves, it was awesome!!!
