Blake and Haley....I first met Haley at her 3rd birthday party in August two years ago. Blake was invited and when I called to RSVP, her mom informed me that Blake was Haley's "boyfriend"....and so the story began..haha! This year for her 5th birthday party, Blake wanted Gramma Pam to spray him with cologne so he'd smell good for Haley and he asked me to write "I love you" in her card! Um, so not ready for that! This picture cracks me up!
I got grief for posting this on Facebook, but, hey, if you want to pose like this and run around in the house with tennis shoes, striped underware and a fauxhawk, that's what you get!

I use my phone to take videos and pictures all of the time. The quality, obviously, isn't as great as my digital camera, but I always have my phone around and it's not the same with the camera. I thought I'd post some of my more recent pics until I can get my camera pictures on here...I have a lot of fun things to post about!

We had so much fun when The Lovin's brought Betty (and themselves!) to Timberli's for some swimming! We enjoyed getting to see Betty--she's grown so much! I can't believe there's only another two months left of Summer (our Summer runs from May to October)..It's flown by so quickly already! Normally I'm not a Summer gal, but now that I'm a little better shape and my kids are both old enough to really enjoy swimming, we've been really having fun playing around outside!

So, I realize I started this Fourth of July series awhile back, I just never finished it! Here are the pics in order from start to finish in full. We had such a nice 4th in Lansing where you can shoot off most any fireworks (especially if you go to MO and buy the illegal stuff :). Blake and I made another super duper quick road trip up there. We also got to spend a day with my mom and Joe, but I forgot my camera that day and, Mother, you never send me your pics!!!!! Anyway, it was a good trip and we had so much fun!!!

I realize I am so far behind on my blog...I'm a month and a half behind, as a matter of fact! I'll get on it one of these days. I don't think anyone even looks at this, so I guess I've felt like it really doesn't even matter if I post or not. I do have a ton of pictures to put up, so I'll work on it one of these days...

I'm sure you can't tell, but my son would not wear his shirt the right way--it's totally backward! He wanted to be able to see the eagle that's supposed to be on the back...lol!

I got to make a very short, quick trip to KS with Blake for the 4th of July. I made a special stop in Wichita to see my cousins Jessica and Chris and Chris' wife Genny and his two boys Lane and Kael. It was so good to see them! I really enjoyed spending a bit of time with them! Blake loves meeting new family and it seems like he always is (he's met Lane and Genny and Chris, it's just been awhile, so they were new to him).

So I was so fortunate this year to get to have multiple birthday parties! My friend Brandon was nice enough to volunteer his house on Canyon Lake, which is about an hour South of my house in New Braunfels for my party--along with Laura and Aaron Renfro (this is a different Laura and Aaron than in the pic above) who were also celebrating birthdays! A group of us all made the drive down there Friday night and stayed until Sunday. It was such a fun, relaxing trip with good friends! We had such a fun time!!!!!! And, yes, the beer wall consists of beers consumed over the weekend...hehe...

Oh, yes, the props....that served as about an hour and a half worth of entertainment. Hahaahaahaha!!!!
