WWWOOO HHOOOOO!!!!!!!

What is this, you ask!?!?!!!??!?! IT'S FREAKING SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! SNOW I SAY, PEOPLE, SSSNNNOOOOWWWWW!!!!! This business does not happen here every day, so this is super exciting for us Southerners! I know you Kansas folk are thinking I'm nuts to be so excited I'd stay up late, stand out in the freezing cold taking pictures of snow, but I swear, I have only seen it snow here like two times in the 8 years I've lived in Austin! Let's hope for a snow day tomorrow, kids! Woo hoo!

Didn't you get some snow days when we lived in Dallas or was that ice? I remember you didn't have to go to work for like a week! ;)

Yeah, we have had snow days twice since I've lived here...but only because people seriously can not drive whatsoever if there is any sort of precipitation let alone iciness....And, really, they don't have ice trucks or scrapers...only sand trucks. We really aren't equipped to deal with ice down here....

i bet it put you in the christmas spirit! i always think of that stuff when cards/books/shows depict the holidays as cold w/snow. i always wonder: what about the southerners?
