So, I guess it's time for me to get the truth out in the open. I know many of you have seen a lot of the status updates regarding my house on Facebook, but I've never really put the full story out there. This is my forum in which to do so, so here you go. For those of you who don't know, I put my house on the market and one week later, had a nearly full priced offer. We went back and forth on a few small details such as closing costs and items in the house they wanted to keep (fridge, drapes, etc). I basically said no to everything and they still opted to purchase the house. The inspection was last week and they wanted $600 for repairs. We offered them $100 and they accepted. As long as the appraisal comes back where it should this week, we're set to close April 25th. I never thought this process would happen so quickly. Now I'm sort of rushed to find a new place to go. I've eluded to this through my Facebook statuses, but I've never come right out to say it... Bryce and I have separated and will be going our own ways. The separation began last July when I found out about some activities I didn't approve of. I began sleeping in Blake's bed. Mid-October, Bryce moved out to his mother's house and has been there ever since. It's not been something I've chosen to talk a lot about, which is abnormal for me. I normally like to get everything out into the open, but this situation is very different from anything I've ever had to go through. We've put a little bit of effort into working things out, but I just don't think it's going to happen. My heart ever so wants it to, but my brain knows this is my chance to go and start a new, better life. So, that's it in a nut shell. It sucks. I hate it. I hate that my son picked up a penny in the driveway that was heads up and told me he was allowed to make a wish and that his wish was that his mommy and daddy would get back together. I hate that I have to do everything alone. I hate that it's so damn expensive to live down here in Austin and that I'll be struggling to make ends meet while finishing school. There's not one good thing about this situation yet. I mean, I could trash Bryce, but I will refrain. I know it will take time for me to see that this was the right thing to do, but going through it just really sucks. If I didn't already mention it, I hate it.

You're a strong woman and a great mom. Hang in there. Things will get better. You and the kids are welcome to crash at my house ANYTIME. I mean it! If you need to get out of the old house before the new place is ready, just let me know. I'll put clean sheets on the futon and y'all can have at it! I admire you for going back to school. Chin up girlfriend! You're gonna make it.
I love you. :)
