Blake's school only allows cupcakes once a month, so all of the parents who have kids celebrating that month pool together and bring things for a small, in-class party. Blake and one other boy turned seven this month, so I had the pleasure of baking cupcakes for his class to celebrate. I kept messing up batches and frosting, but after 4.5 hours, I finally had two dozen worth taking to school. It was so worth the effort to see Blake grinning from ear to ear when I walked into his classroom.
