I didn't really have anything new to post...I really, really need to charge the batteries for my camera and download a bunch of pics, but I've just been too busy these days! Here's a pic of the munchkin! Hope you're all well!!!!

Well, I got a job....sigh...well, it's a temp to hire job, but it's still a job. Monday through Friday 8-5 in the downtown Austin area. I enrolled Blake in the local La Petite (the only place I could find with three days' notice), where he will start tomorrow. I keep trying to explain to him what's going to happen. When I ask him if he wants to go play with the kids at daycare he tells me, "nuh uh", so dropping him off in the morning should be pretty heart wrenching. I am going extra early so I can play with him while he's there and show him around and things (he went to tour the place with me last week and was tearing the place up like he belonged there, so that's a good sign), so hopefully he'll be ok when I leave. I also got a call from Austin Regional Clinic about my application that I turned in last week. I hope I get an interview! I'm just working admin for an environmental agency now, but if I could get my foot in at a dr's office, I'd be so excited! Wish me luck on that one!!!!!

Other than those changes, not too much going on at our house. Just spent a nice relaxing weekend at home...I studied for 6 hours Sunday while Bryce and Blake went to Bryce's mom's house for the afternoon. I like to outline the chapter as I read it....I swear, I have a bruise on my thumb and my pinky finger hurst from so much writing! I had to stop before I went insane, so a break I took for the rest of the evening. Pretty wild times here at our house!

Well, now that I'm a working woman, I can't stay up too late anymore! I must retire to my suite and get myself into my beddy bye! Hope everyone's doing well! Pictures to come soon!!!!

One more...this is Aaron and my friend Laura on Aaron's last night..... 

Since I don't have Windows XP anymore and Windows 2000 sucks and doesn't have photo stuff on it...I can't rotate this picture without going through 25 steps...I'm way too lazy for that sort of effort, so tilt your head and no complaining! Aaron and Blake were gone for awhile and it was quiet...so, of course, I had to check on things....I found them in Blake's room reading "Elmo" books...how cute! 

And here's one from Aaron's last night in town...we went downtown to a place that has over 80 beers on tap and hung out for awhile and then went to your typical hip-hop playing bar with over priced drinks and major crowds!!!

So, while Aaron was here, we did a lot of Karaoking....I just want to let you know that he got all the talent...I was pretty much born without any--can't sing, can't dance, can't burp the alpahbet--but whatever...didn't stop me from trying! Here I am with my friend Laura singing "Gangsta's Paradise" I like to sing dumb songs like old school hip hop, rap and boy band stuff...it's fun and ppl laugh and don't expect me to do a good job!

I always drive past this and smile when I see it.....it's a whole neighborhood devoted to Johnson County! This is the neighborhood sign, but the street you drive into the neighborhood on is called Shawnee Mission! Isn't that funny!?! ATx loves JoCo!!! 

Last Friday, I picked Aaron up from the airport and boogied on down to Port Aransas on the Gulf of Mexico with a big group of my friends to celebrate my birthday! What a fantastic weekend we had! Here's a pic of the girls...we had a blast!!!!

And Blake thought he might drive us home the other night...that would have been an interesting ride.... 

Here's Blake with part of the ribbon from Bryce's FAther's Day Gift....What's that between his eyes, you might ask? Weeeeeellll....we didn't quite make it to two years old before our first ER trip which resulted in stitches. Bryce's sister and I ran Blake to the after hours clinic at around 7 because his chigger bites had turned into an awful mess...he ended up having a Staff infection!!!!!! Well, about two hours after we got home, he was messing around on the bed and fell face first off onto the desk and bashed his head open!!!! We had to run him to the Emergency room where we waited 2 hours to get in and then another 2 for him to get five stitches in his little head! Gosh, what an awful experience that all was! They had to like restrain him and and screamed and cried the entire time they were stictching him up....I know the ER was glad when Blake left! He was so exhausted that he was just screaming and yelling while we waited.....it was funny, though...once we got in the car, the bleeding stopped (we had to go into the ER covered in blood). Once at the ER, Blake ran around the place like there was nothing wrong with him...climbed the chairs in the waiting room begging for another gash on the head! He was nutso! It was quite the experience....dont' want to do that again! He's getting his stitches out tomorrow, so that will be a fun experience as well, I'm sure....he's doing well, though....

Hey, everyone! I know I haven't posted for awhile...I've been lazy about downloading my pics. Anyway! Sooo...yeah...I just celebrated my 27th birthday! My mom came down and my grandparents did as well. We all had a really nice dinner at my Aunt Sandy's house. I'm an old lady now....officially! Haha! We went to a wedding shower the night before my birthday and ended up going out afterwards to a carnival thing that had a band. After midnight we talked the band into singing happy birthday to me! I was very excited! Next weekend my brother and a group of my friends will be packing up and heading south to celebrate my birthday at the beach in Port Aransas! Very much looking forward to it!!!! Anywhoo...hope everyone's doing well! I'll have some pics soon for your viewing pleasure!
