No, it's not mine, dont' worry!!!!!! Not yet, kids, not yet.....I just wanted to say congratulations to my cousin Jamie! This is her little nugget that we'll be welcoming into the world around May 8th! It's so little, but you can still see the human resemblance...well, at least I can...sort of! Heehee! She's hoping for a boy, so I'll wish her the best on that one! Boys are fun!

I got a message yesterday from my friend Grant's wife.....he passed away about 3 weeks ago. I guess he got cancer and was very sick. Six months after his diagnosis, he was gone. I hadn't talked to him in about a year. It's funny, though, I just had this innate need to talk to him about two months ago. I e-mailed him, but it came back saying the address was no longer valid. I tried his name @ every e-mail server I could think of, but nothing. I even Googled him and had no luck! I didn't have his new number, so I just dropped it. Now I wish I had tried a little harder to make contact. His wife said he didnt' want anyone to make a big deal about it, so he didnt' call anyone and really lost touch with a lot of his friends....I just wish I had had the chance to talk to him one more time. It's hard to come to terms with the fact that I'll never ever get to talk to him again....

I called in for my first Unemployment check today! Yay! I'm assuming I'll be getting it this week....No one here at work ever said a single word to me about it! I just dreaded hearing what they would say, but I guess they didnt' care. Hmmm.....good for me! I am assuming I'll be getting money and everything's approved....I won't believe it until the check's in the bank! I'm pretty excited that I'll be getting a little extra income, it will for sure help, especially since I'm having Blake's birthday party this weekend! Parties are expensive, let me tell you!!! So far, we have about 25 people attending....I'm anticipating more, though.

Thursday is Blake's actual birthday....since it's my day off, I'm trying to think of some special things Blake and I can do together to celebrate that won't cost me an arm and a leg. Anyone have any ideas? We're going to wake up and take a walk like we always do....then after that, I don't know. A park or something fun, I'm thinking. Don't worry, I'll have an extra special post for you guys to enjoy on that day! Be prepared, it's going to be a big one!

Well, I supposed that's all for me for now. It feels like I blinked my eyes and it was noon today...I love when the day passes like that! I have some yummy left over pizza today. I'm rather starving, so I'm not sure that's going to cut it....it should, though. Mmmmm....I'm goin to eat!!!!!!!!!!!
